JUAN L. ICAZA, was born in Cuba in 1965. He and his family came to America in 1971 and resided in New York City. He graduated from Seton Hall University and Seton Hall Law School. Mr. Icaza then joined the Newark firm of Bross, Strickland, Cary & Grossman as an associate and rose to become its managing partner at the age of 29. He and Robert R. Cary formed the firm of Cary & Icaza in 1996 and in 2009 renamed the firm to Icaza & Burgess maintaining a relationship with Robert Cary as office counsel.
Mr. Icaza has been practicing law since 1990 specializing in personal injury cases involving medical malpractice, lead and toxic torts, automobile accidents and products liability. He is admitted to practice in New Jersey , Federal District Court of New Jersey and the United States Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit. Mr. Icaza is a member of the New Jersey Bar Association, Essex County Bar Association and The Association of Trial lawyers of America. He is fluent in Spanish and Portuguese.

CHARLES M. GROSSMAN served as an Assistant Essex County Prosecutor from 1966 to 1968. He also served as Special Counsel to the Essex County Executive from 1999 to 2000. Mr. Grossman has been involved with the Hispanic community for over 40 years. He has been Counsel to the to Hispanic Law Enforcement Society since its inception in 1984. Mr. Grossman also served as a Board Member of La Casa Don Pedro from 2008 to 2010. Mr. Grossman was appointed as. Commissioner for the Essex County improvement Authority in 1991 and served until 1996. As part of the service he was elected Chairman for the years 1995 and 1996 for that agency.

JOHN L. ICAZA attended Muhlenberg College where received a bachelors in Business Administration. He then went on to work at Morgan Stanley in the Alternative Investments Operations Department. In 2019 he was accepted to Widener University Commonwealth Law School. At his time at Widener, John was certified legal intern for the Central Pennsylvania Law Clinics where he assisted indigent and impoverished clients with Civil Matters. John graduated with his law degree in may of 2022 and passed the February 2023 bar exam where he will pursue his career as a lawyer with his father at Icaza Burgess and Grossman
